Training & qualifications

Working with care begins with
continuing to learn.

Mariëlle combines her training in NEI and Reiki with further learning about trauma, resilience, self-regulation and psychosocial themes. This allows her to look beyond a particular approach and give thoughtful attention to the whole person.

The foundation of Praktijk IK

NEI and Reiki
come first.

Praktijk IK focuses on NEI and Reiki sessions, which is why these qualifications are presented first. The other certificates provide valuable additional depth: they show that Mariëlle has broadened her knowledge in areas related to emotions, stress, loss, resilience and safety.

A certificate cannot tell you everything about a practitioner. It does, however, show that knowledge has been developed deliberately and that Mariëlle continues to invest in careful, person-centred practice.

A broader perspective on
people and emotions.

These courses are not offered as separate services at Praktijk IK. They enrich Mariëlle's listening skills, sensitivity and understanding of what people may experience.

3–4 October 2024 · 16 contact hours

Psychosocial trauma and bereavement

A two-day Rots en Water specialisation in psychosocial trauma and bereavement. The certificate confirms attendance and is explicitly not a train-the-trainer accreditation.

How this informs her approach
